A highly interactive competence-building experience designed to intentionally reveal and address the client’s organizational concerns and issues with limited resistance or confrontation and maximum enjoyment. Perfectly suited for Boards of Directors and/or staff development.

Since a critical factor in adult learning is having revealed knowledge occur through the participant’s actions (not by a sage on the stage), the everyday act of cooking promises to provide all the necessary opportunities to build organizational competencies in:

  • Collaboration & Communication
  • Chaos Tolerance & Uncertainty
  • Team Building & Trust
  • Leadership & Management
  • Customer Service & Product Development
  • Innovation & creativity
  • Resource Sharing and Knowledge Transfer

The session is built around a customized menu that fosters both creativity and strict adherence to process. Distinct teams are configured for meal preparation and presentation. Through various cooking group activities, the specific work modalities that are creating breakdowns and organization setbacks are revealed. The participants then get to appreciate the fruits of their combined efforts (eat a three-course meal) while creating solutions to their “revealed” organizational circumstances. Planning for the future while sharing a great meal memorializes the experience. The entire experience is enjoyable and educational.
